Awa Shijira Ori Cooperative Association

The association, composed of manufacturers with over 100 years of history, is actively working to promote the spread of Awa Shijira Ori (Fabrics).

Every year in May, they hold an exhibition at the Traditional Crafts Aoyama Square in Aoyama, Tokyo, where they engage in PR and sales of Awa Shijira Ori to consumers in the metropolitan area. In 2008, they registered "Awa Shijira Ori" as a regional collective trademark to enhance recognition and strengthen the brand.

Additionally, they continue to expand their sales channels by participating in JAPAN CREATION, the largest textile products trade fair in Japan, as well as the Gift Show, and by developing products in collaboration with external designers. They also work on promoting Awa Shijira Ori through the creation of PR brochures and other information dissemination.
